The voting block is still quite small relative to the user base on this site. Is there a way to send a message to all forum members with a link to vote? Or a pop up on some of the subforums?

It would be nice to see hundreds of votes. Also by getting voters that are not forum regulars I think it will achieve contest results just on the strength of the build, eliminating any popularity voting for the builder/username.

Thinking along those lines...how about a somewhat blind submission. All entrants submit to a moderator, that moderator posts the pics, no names (not like most of us wont know who's cars they are though), just the pics to vote for (number them for voting polls)?

Just spit-balling ideas out there.

sounds like a good idea to me, and only show the results at the end, so no one knows how many votes have been cast for any entrant until all votes are in.

Even I wouldn't go THAT far....

Forgot it was a Leap Year. Tomorrow is the 1st.

I really have to get off my butt and get the new contest rules written up.

But before we get to far in to this year, I want to point out that if you win one of the monthly contests you are done for the year. I don't want any repeat winners this time around. Especially being as though there will only be 10 contests where entries will be submitted.
