Haha... no it isn't ready yet, as i am stuck at work and cannot get access to the bits and bobs i need to go into it. The tyres, esc, bodyshell etc... are all back home so there is a bit more work to do yet before it is ready. But yeah, when it is done I will be getting some proper pictures of it and will pop it up
Not sure how it would go down anyway, as much of the audience on here has never even heard of Brimod shocks let alone seen this car before. It might be a bit too far out there..... The HYBRID i have entered is probably a bit of an unknown as it is!

I have already added a post in the Schumacher section on the Brimod prototype shocks that features on the SWB CAT press car and boxart, but seeing as i have uncovered a few different Brimod shock variations recently I might as well post them up on this thread also.
All three pairs here are slightly different, the most striking being the middle ones without the threaded bodies. The body base has more of a taper too, exactly as per the CAT boxart car.
The rears to the left are hex-adjuster versions, but have the later pan-head screw bleed valve, the front pair to the right are also hex, but have the allen head bleed valve. I have never seen a front pair of hex adjuster Brimods before these. Those on the prototype car are intermediates.
These also popped up last week... a different adjuster again, and one i have never seen or heard about before and i wasn't initially convinced they were genuine. The bleed valve on these is the allen version, and now i have them they do seem to be the same sealing system etc... as the other later versions I have.

Not much changing on this build for now, as I await the initial shell fitting before it goes off for paint.
The original early Nosram ESC has been seviced however, and I am pleased to report it had a clean bill of health - all fully functional.
I have had it rewired and have also ordred some new heatshrink for it. Some Nosram decals have also now arrived
I will polish up the heatsinks a little before adding the heatshrink and then try to work out where i am going to squeeze it into the car!

Looks great! Is that a Parma Eagle? Looks fierce, can't wait to see it with paint!

Superb paint details with the wet-look running over the decals. And the bold wing treatmemt is a nice touch as well. Very unique buggy indeed.

Glad you like it. It isn't quite finished yet, still waiting on the arrival of another large Novak sticker for the other side, plus learning from the Hybrid entry, this one will have electrics too. I have the original Nosram esc complete with Brimod heatsinks which came with the car, and the original MG Magnum used in the early mag shots of the car so they really have to be included too. Will get it finished and then enter it.
