I went to the Worlds in Detroit and I remember thinking how awesome it was to see these Stealth cars KIND of up close. I didn't stay for the final mains, because I lived in Indiana, but I did get to see them demo that Kyosho Burns, the first 8th scale off road nitro I ever saw and I got to watch Masami drive with this feet.

I remember anticipating the Stealth release and waiting... and waiting... but it is cool to see them in such high detail now. I never caught the RCCA with them in it because I'd go in and out of the hobby so much.

One thing I did find was there are books on the early cars, didn't know about those.

beside these pics, does anyone else have a few detailed photos of the 91 detroit stealth? I would like to make a replica. i remember these cars from the magazines back in the day. As a kid I would sit in my room and stare at them just wishing i had one. Well now Im just an older kid but I still want one. Anything would be helpful. Thanks

We're all want one...

but really difficult, because of the number of prototype parts.

many threads talk about it, here is my favorite, take a look:

prototype stealth tranny via mark pavidis's bookface for throw back thursday. looks like he used the production slipper clutch, versus the prototype clutch.
