Got these today. The infamous fine pitch belts I'd imagine. Are these rare? Ive not come across these before. Cheers-Jason.

I saw a fine pitch kit in Japan; including the spur with pulley ( with built-in one way I believe) and the pulley too the front wheels, belts and 2 pulleys for the differentials.
With my new policy just in place; "buy only what you can use yourself" I left it on the hook. It was pretty expensive actually.

Thanks for the insight Eric. I just got these in the mail today from my good friend Rob in Melbourne. He found a nice selection of nip spares for the Yoke's and I needed new belts for my 870c car. This is what turned up and i didnt realise they were the fine pitch till it was too late. If anybody wants these let me know. Cheers-Jason.

The teeth don't look that small on the picture actually. Could you compare these belts to what's used in an A&L tranny please?

Hi Jason, i assume they are quite rare as you don't see them alot. I also got some kits with belts & pulleys and will use one to build my works 93.

They did come with a one way for the spur. The conversion kit I got back in the very early ninties included it and i think it cost around £30 (GBP) very pricey for the time!! The original kit by the way is still in great condition and will be used in my 91 works resto.

Eric I dont have an A&L tranny so I dont know how i may compare the two pitches. These belts have a very similar pitch to the Schumacher CAT's and Procats etc...These definately arent the 870c pitch....

Jason, your rear drive belt ref #is ZC-653S, assuming that the S goes for small, the stock one looks to be ref #ZC-651

you might be right on schumacher using the same pitch as A&L: both use imperial hardware and bearings. While yokomo uses the M3 standard: metric pitch with 3mm per tooth.
I think I just answered my own question: in all likeliness the fine pitch belt of yokomo is metric and thus not equal to the imperial pitch of A&L
