Finally getting around to building this project. This is a buggy I have been wanting to build for awhile but other projects kept getting in the way. Base for this project is a nip A&L trailing arm conversion/ fiberglass chassis kit. I had a new front end kit that I built for it along with tecnacraft turnbuckles, stainless screw kit and losi steering. The original kit came with a graphite rear shock tower. I decided to go with a fiberglass tower instead to keep everything fiberglass. I think it will look better than having black parts mixed in with white and fiberglass. Also trying to stay away from the stock black motor guard if I can. The plan is to keep everything white, fiberglass and gold. Here is what I have built so far.

Those come with the A & L kit for the trailing arm conversion. You could probably try emailing the Factory Works site, that's the newer name for A & L after they split up. Layne is a member here and you could pm him he usually answers in a few days. I can't remember his first name right now(senior moment) but that's his id ........ Layne. I'm sure scr8p will jump in and tell us. I've gotten stuff from him before, he's a good guy.

Now with some wheels and a rear motor guard. I tried on a few different wheels before settling with a the Losi outers and stock tires.

Notice the trans brace is too short. The black wrap around guard that comes with the A&L kit is longer in this area. I plan on fitting a custom nylon piece or aluminum plate here at some point so it will bolt together. Also, need to glue the felt retainer onto the tranny housing.
