Long way & lots of parts to go!

This is the beginnings of my JRX-2 resto. I want to get it back as close as I can to the way I ran it on dirt ovals back in '90-'91, complete w/ EDM body.
I still have a ways to go and many parts to get. Most of my parts got "molested" over time, mostly in efforts to save weight, or to mount some device that I thought was "trick" when I was a teen! LOL!
The things that I am most in need of are a rear bulkhead, front bulkhead that says "JRX2" ( I have a nearly new one that says "Team Losi"), and a motor plate that says "JRX2" (Mine has a hole drilled in it).
This is going to take me a while, cuz I'm pretty slow...and still racing actively which takes up a lot of my extra cash!

Good start, Paul.
At least you are only working on ONE project.

I'm in the middle of a Dominator, a Superior SRP-1, 2 Badgers (from 4 different cars) and a gold tub RC10 bomber with an old school chassis setup.
Short attention span theater...
Post the parts you'll be looking to find for this project. Maybe we can help you collect what you need.

nice start! Do you remember who made the stiffer 5 link chassis mounts you have? I saw them earlier and thought they were custom made, now it seems they weren't...

Hi Paul
From other parts I have seen of theirs I think it might have been JG who made the rear mounts, but I cannot be sure as I don't have a header card. Great start to your project by the way.
Cheers
Ed
P.S. ^^^^^^Asso_man! and mrlexan are both great guys to deal with.

David, those thicker mounts were made by Robinson Racing..... I thought that I has the part number, I will see if I can dig it up.
Thanks for the comments Ed!

Thanks for the words guys!
Yes, those trailing link mounts were made by Robinson. Guys at my local track used to break the stock mounts, but these seemed to be bullet proof! My original set is long gone, but I found these a couple of years ago on ebay. They were in a large lot of stuff that was mostly junk (to me at the time anyway!). I spotted them in one of the pics. I got the package and much to my surprise there were 2 sets. I kept them both, and promptly re-ebayed everything else!

As for parts, I really wish I had a chassis that was in better shape, but I know that the short wheel base 20 degree chassis was hard to find by the time the JRX-Pro came out...so its probably impossible to find now! I found this one about 3 years ago, and I picked it up pretty cheap....probably before vintage Losi stuff was in demand.
My original chassis got narrowed to the width of the battery and has a bunch of holes in it from various body, battery & servo mounting configurations...I still have it though.
The parts that I most need at the moment are:
-Rear bulkhead
-Rear shock tower
-Rear axles & universals (I think these might actually still be available)
-Battery box (original single piece if possible)
-Antenna mount
-Original Orange 5 spoke wheels
-JRXT Rear body mount
I think I have pretty much everything else. I just picked up a NIP front shock tower, which I grossly overpaid for! LOL!
There is a LHS about an hour from me that has a bunch of old stuff, so I need to find time to go over there.

Gee thanks! $16.50 for a part marked "$5.00"...do I have a problem?

Bah, only $16.50... you got off easy. LOL. Ask Hoopty about his most recent shock tower "issue."

I could really use that for my custom building projects if it still has the kick-up. Send me a PM if you ever want to do it away.
thanks, erik

Project Update:
Not too much construction-wise to update, mostly 'cuz I've been looking for parts. I think I hit a mini jackpot w/ these...
