Scored an MRP Pro-110 never assembled, but need help!

Hey fellas, check this out. I just picked up this old MRP kit. I've always dug these MRP cars.
This one is still in all it's original packaging. But it is missing a parts pack. The parts packs are labled with letters and (P) is missing, which has the metal parts for the diff.....plates, outdrives, diff balls, etc. Other wise the kit is complete. Some of the metal parts have some surface rust, but it sould clean up. :D

I've got a few questions however.

1. The manual says Stage II and the decals say Pro-110. Was the Stage II just an upgraded version of a Pro-110?

2. All the suspension arms, diff case, etc are molded in black. I though all MRP cars had the white, nylon parts???

3. Do I build it? Hahaha......A part of me kinda wants to keep it in the box, but really, what fun is that, right???

Also, I just went through the box more and found that the front and rear bumpers are missing. :(

I thought these all had fiberglass shock towers and chassis', but this kit has all black-anodized aluminum instead of fiberglass...the upper chassis plate is black glass, or maybe graphite??

1. The best way to tell is the chassis plate. I have only ever seen the SII come with a gold chassis plate and compared to the shorter wheelbase black plate of the Pro-110. My SII has decals that say SII. The pic of the decals you have are for the Pro-110. Yes the SII was upgraded, but there are lots of little differences.

2. All the Pro-110's I have seen have black parts. The Shotgun and the SII have white parts. I would say with the above and the fact that the parts are black, you probably have a regular Pro-110.

3. That's entirely up to you.

Thanks for the info Mr.Lexan!!! So this is an earlier car then? Or was the Pro-110 and the Stage II available at the same time? The manual looks like it was printed off later.

I plan on building it.....once I locate the missing parts.

Help needed.....because this kit came with a Stage II manual, I'm having slight difficulty assembling it.
Does anyone have a Pro-110 that they could post pics of? Body off? I think I may be missing more parts than I originally thought. :| I searched but found nuthin' but Stage II pics.....while the rear suspension is about the same, the front is different....

Any help with pics or a copy of the assmbly manual would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!! :D

Do you still need pictures of a pro 110 or a stage II?

I saw a bunch racing in seatle when i lived and raced up at some of the old tracks. MRP had a few guys kind of a team deal. I was asked to try one out. i was stupid and said no :( kinda wished i had i got my ass kicked by a few. they faded away fast.

RAD! Thanks for the pics.....so it looks like there is no upper "link" attached to the spindles...interesting.
Also, all my parts are black, shocks, towers, chassis plates, everything.
SK...is that your rig? I may be asking for more pics as I go....
