It must drive like a dog...it's a wreck...you can see in this picture just how much shorter it is by the shape of the hole (slot) in the body

looks like the pan is pretty straight and only the front plate and nose tubes are actually hurt. That says something about the strength of the tub

i have seen people bend the tubes like that before for a coupe reasons.

1) some shock towers rubbed the tubes making them a pita to get the tubes on. most common reason was a bent/warped chassis) so instead of fixing the chassis (or even being aware that it was not the shock tower to blame) they made custom bent tubes just like this to add clearance. but the bends were not to that degree.

2) bitd people tried just about anything to get an advantage. adding frontal kickup was one of the ideas that people tried at my local track. this was done by bolting the nose tubes in and taking a pair of pliers and squeezing them together. thus shortening them and pulling the nose upward. a few people bent the nose and drilled out different rear mounting holes. this was proven to offer no advantage on the track (can we say duh?)

i don't believe the bends in those nose tubes got there just from a wreak. a wreak may have bent them so they were matching if someone had already started a bend in case of #1 above.

Thats crazy... I think they bent them to avoid the Tierods from hitting them.

That noseplate is bent tho... Look at the angle of the shocks/tower....

The chassis appears to be taco'd some too, at the point where it starts tapering wider towards the center. I have a 10T tub that has the same affliction.
