Well....in my qwest to collect some of my favorite cars from the '80's, I came across this at a local swapmeet. Dig the Marui Big Bear tires...

The ol' Cat needs a little love, that's for sure. But with Ebay and the help of this board, I hope to have her looking and running good again.
Progress will be slow I'm sure, as I have a few other projects going as well (don't we all?

) But plan to keep updates as I make progress.

Ahhhh...I'm gong to be sick.

Nice score! I'd be posting these pics if I hadn't had to go get cash...

Nice project mate

Just FYI this was a Top Cat at some point and it is now more a Cougar (the front end with upright shocks was an option before Schumacher released the Cougar kit) as the Top Cat had lay-down shocks. Keep us posted!
Here's mine:

Thanks for the info! Wow...yours is really nice....
Yeah, this chassis has quite a few "extra" holes in it, some factory, some not. I see now where the lay-down shocks would attach. Unfortunately, one of the holes has been enlarged substantially.

Do ya have pics? I'd like to get this back together and looking nice, but I'm not "locked in" to a 100% stock resto either. (although I do like the lay down shock setup):D

Can I see some pictures of how those big bear wheels were fitted to the shumacher axles please?
(Just for inspiration : I own neither the car nor wheels)

I've already taken 'em off and gave 'em away.....
But let's just say the mounting was "creative".....haha!
