Re: 2009 VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS OFFICIAL THREAD• SEPT 18-20TH
Jay I absolutely do that for you. I'll make something up today. You'll be missed this year my friend but I'll do my best to take lots of pictures and post online for you... hell maybe I'll even send you one of my home made extra crispy motors...ahhhh just like mom used to make
Reign, the concours will be the same as last year yes.
I haven't heard any interest about the swap meet and was nearly going to scrap the idea... do you guys want to see that happen still?

Thanks Erich. I'd really like to make it, it's just bad timing. This thing I am working has been out there hanging out of reach since March with rumors since "It's just a week away". Well six months later, it couldn't have come at a more inappropriate time.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Re: 2009 VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS OFFICIAL THREAD• SEPT 18-20TH
so i stay up late late last night and a good part of this morning trimming and prepping and doing the paint slash thing to a couple new mrlex bodies, only to find out this morning i'm out of pink paint...
anyway... i'm gonna hit the road in an hour or two, stay somewhere tonight, and be there sometime thursday afternoon or early evening.
gonna bring my mac with me, but its not wireless so i'll be screwed if the hotel doesnt have a hardwire hookup.

I made a list of on the RCtech VONATs thread, and it looks like we're gonna have a nice turnout this year as well, with almost everyone racing in 2-4 classes, there's going to be a lot of racing going on...
Here's what I came up with...
RCHR
Mark W.
Raul
Jenna
Alyssa
Nicky G.
Joe G.
Kyle R.
Steve S.
Freddy V.
Kelly V.
Jay K.
John B.
George B.
Will W.
Ron D.
Travis M.
Hilde B.
Ron S.
Rich F.

bngiles - Brandon
aconsola - Anthony
Erich
bscotti - Brian
hoopty - Jason
MelvinsArmy - Scott
covell2 - Tim
reign79 -
Other Out of Towners
Chris C.
Pappi (Chris' Friend)
Another RCEer
Tom L.
Stephen M.
Nate - Kid with the Pajero
That's 36 from the top of my head that are definitely coming and most are running atleast 2 classes...
There are 9-11 others that are unconfirmed from Facebook and RCTech, and maybe 4-5 more from RCHR that either I don't know their names, or I forgot to mention...
That's a lot of cars.....

That's natedog. I wish my mom had driven me 3+ hours to an r/c race when I was his age!!tecnica2001 wrote:Kid with the Pajero
If I remember right he left with a cool prize last year too. Hope you can make it Nate!
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Natedog replied in the Scale4x4rc forums, and he said he was going to run a Futaba FX and a Big Brute.
But that was a while ago, I sent him a message today, I'm awaiting his reply.
Didn't he win a Tamiya Frog kit??
