Scanned them anyway. How many times have you started putting something together before reading the instructions? I'm guilty as sin.

Geek here, I don't just read manuals, I absorb ‘em. Read fine print in contracts too, drives the wifey batty, despite the money it’s saved me.

That’s one of the reasons why I haven’t applied for the BS&T section, something about 25 “worthwhile” posts I think it was.

That said, although I do read the instructions, it does in no way mean that I always follow them!!!
I always check the 'do not do this' area for fun ideas.

i admit that i read them. i also read a lot of posts to get a feel for the site since all forum sites have their own "not listed but everyone should know" rules. i like to feel like i know a site a bit before i post and ask the "i im a newb that feel rules dont apply to me since im new" questions.

I did read the rules- I actually read posts for almost a year before joining. I was more into my Hotshot and other Tamiyas as a kid and although I enjoyed my RC10 I didn't really appreciate it until I got it back out on a track for some local vintage racing.

just like the instuctions i dont read then and yes i have broke the rules by asking whats it worth.

Yes and no...another member sent me this way to find this site and I lurked for quite awhile after I joined and did see some of the rules first...

I read them, and try to stick to them, I read all things, but don't get chance to contribute as much as I would like.
I am a member of a fair few boards, and all are different, just common courtesy to abide by the rules where you are at that moment.

Interestingly enough, the rules only exist to promote common courtesy.

I always read the Rules, but I did forget the No Bumping Rule once. I believe that has been my only infraction here, and thats because most Sites DO allow it. BUT, I do like the No Bumping Rule!!! Face it, theres only 5 or 6 Rules, its NOT hard to comply with that, especially with what you get for it.....this WONDERFUL Site!!!!
