We're going to visit the Wifes Folks in Stanwood, Michigan, from the 21st, to the 25/26th. Anybody in that area wanna play, or point me in the right direction for some Hobby Shops/Bashing Places/Tracks? Just need to know what Type of Vehicles to take with me.

Not sure what part of MI you'll be. One of the ones I familiar with, or rather heard good things about, is Washtenaw in Ann Arbor. http://www.washtenawrcraceway.com

Sadly, according to the map Total Estimated Time: 2 hours 55 minutes Total Estimated Distance: 189.07 miles

There is not much out where he is going, he is far from the major metro areas of Michigan. Outside of RC, I would venture west until you hit the lake. Anywhere on the coast is BEAUTIFUL, especially this time of year. Ludington looks to the be the closest and is a nice little town.... been there several times myself. Ludington State Park just north of town accessible through downtown, then north on 116, is something I would recommend.

Wrong side of the state for me to offer any really good suggestions… The closest track I know of would be a little south around Grand Rapids. Never been there myself, but some of the guys come over our way, good guys. They did host the ROAR offroad regionals.

I’m not sure, but think Washtenaw is a winter only operation, and only open on race days, with occasional practice/track build days.

Side note, until just recently operated by the RC Product Design guy, who has been heavily involved in the 1/8 electric conversion beasts for many years.

Dan (RC Product Design) is moving his operation to Oregon. I'm looking forward to it actually. Kinda wanting to try out one of his conversions. I have a hyper7 thats perfect for an Elec. conversion.

Same offer here, even though it might be a bit far. We plan to be at Pheasant Runn just before and after, the 20 and 27th.

We might go to Factory Tracks Raceway on Wednesday night to race. Or perhaps some other night for practice if you are interested. I can bring some vintage Losis. PM me if interested.
