Direct mount servo saver on a metal gear servo??

Finishing up a partially built 12L4 I snagged on ebay and I planned on putting in a Futaba S3002 metal gear servo. The problem is, the metal spline has really fine threads and a really short screw. The screw is long enough to mount a horn but not a servo saver and it's smaller than a 4-40. Where do I locate a longer screw or what other options do I have?

the screw is a 2.6mm I have no idea why they use that instead of the more readily available 2, 2.5, or 3mm sizes

is a mix of 5 and 8mm lengths
I am pretty sure the 8mm will work for the servo savers, but here are some longer ones, you can never have too many spares ;)

Heh, you beat me to it. I was just about to edit my post saying I found sufficient screws. I just placed an order at Tower for the Hitec screws and a new saver (wrecked two spare Kimbroughs trying to do a shadetree mechanic modification  ). Wish I would of seen the Duratrax ones first, would've gotten them. 8)

that was a great deal on that L4, I almost bid on it but I want a link car so I can run Lipo. Are you going to come out to Thunder to run it?

Yea, it was thanks. The seller was a little careless and didn't bother to bag the rest of the small hardware parts and and just left them rattling around in the l4 box. The shipping box arrived with hardware and body clips literally falling out of the box. The only things missing were the plastic assembly tools and a couple servo mount washers. The speed 12 body I think was re stapled in the bag cause there were no window masks or protoform decals.

I really mulled over wether I wanted to hit the BIN button on the L4 cause I just recieved a couple of 12L's from this auction, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260430558193&viewitem=&salenotsupported and I still have my 12E that is still sitting dormant in a rolling chassis state. I'm in the process of selling off the 12L's and am debating on selling the 12E and just focusing on the L4. I just don't have the space or money to support all these cars, lol. I'm just a sucker for a bargain. Murfreesboro doesn't have a track so the closest thing I have is a tennis court and parking lot at my apartments. I'd like to make it to Nashville sometime, sounds like fun. Haven't raced in the better part of 20 years, I'd be a bit rusty.
