Hello.
I have been running my gold pan in our 2wd buggy class this year. I have been doing pretty good with it (usually top 5) believe it or not. I am using a full gold chassis ,stealth trans, b2 cvds modern tires
with Mark W setup from here-
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=6600

I am still running a brushed motor (12 turn) and nimh packs.
I am having a problem with the car nose diving bad on a few jumps. They are short run small takoff ramps. I have tried going to a black rear(super soft) spring but that did not help (car would bottom out on a few of the larger jumps too). I also tried a silver front spring (did not help). I am out of ideas on what to try. I know I am nuts trying to run a 20 year old buggy with the newer cars but I love the looks I get when I set her down on the track. :P Any other things I can try?
Thanks

try green springs all the way around . also a little more bigger rear wing will help keep the front up.

you also can play with the throttle to change the way it jumps. Let off as you you going off the jump, if you are starting to nose over a little hit of the throttle will bring it back up. make sure you speed control is set up that when you let off the throttle your brake is not on and stopping the wheels.

HELLO aLL THIS IS YOUR OLD PORTLAND RUSTBUCKET . It has been a wile since I have been on the board. I see there is a set up post. OK maybe some of you can help me again like you have allways done.
Can some one tell me how to set up a stock gold pan for flat dirt oval track. The track we run at has a very nice oval right next to the Off Road been runing my RC 10 T . Now I want to start runing with the oval guys. most of them have all of the newer rigs. I have a stock rc 10 gold pan but I was able to up date it to the newer wheels. it has the stelth tranny also have did a little up dating but not much . So now I am looking for ideas on how to set this one and give the others a bad time . I ran it the other night and I was not happy so now it is time to turn to you guys that know the RC 10 Gold pand better then me . SO now I need your grate advice again. Thankyou in advance ,
Befor I get rid of everthing and stay with my RC 10 T. BUT i want to try to see if I can make this RC 10 run and show them that an older Vintage can still do it .
I still love my RC 10 T custom truck . That one I have no plans of changing at all.
