you are my hero.. i was thinking about picking up a worlds graphite chassis and cutting it for the rpm worlds suspension. i just couldn't decide if i should or not. now that it has been done i may just use a standard graphite chassis.
car looks great man.

Yeah, but this chassis was delaminated from the nose to the bottom of the kick-up (all layers)
and cracked in the rear end,

and scratched all to um.......bits?,

so a couple of hours of cutting
wet sanding etc, this is what I came up with. Didn't have anything to lose

But that chassis has the AE stamp - so did you convert a standard graphite to a Graphite World's and then to a RPM World's?

Yes, yes and yes.

I have a World's graphite chassis that I was planning to convert to a RPM World's. The nose is hammered so I was thinking of chopping it off and installing a truck nose plate (But I was first going to send scr8p a picture to get his approval being that he is the graphite chassis resto master).

This one was too, delaminated all the way to the kickup where the chassis goes from flat to 30 deg. CA & Zip kicker, lots of clamping pressure, then trimmed the front edge (badly beat up)
since the car was getting a RPM worlds treatment anyway it worked out perfectly--Like I said, with this chassis I didn't have anything to lose, so it was worth a shot

. Plus out of all the really cool cars i've seen here--I haven't seen one of these

Nice bit of recycling.

The front tower is A&L.

I was looking at the 2 graphite chassis' i have at home. One has substantially more holes (including stealth cutouts) but the nose is in decent shape. the other one I have has a semi yet usable nose and the chassis is pretty much stock, minus the stealth holes.
I've been thinking about converting one to a "Worlds" but not sure which one. How much work is it to convert one? I don't have a ton of tools, namely a drill press or sander. I do have a dremel. Can it be done?
(seeing this now makes me realize I am going to need about 4 sets of worlds arms for the F and R.)
