I am starting with a $20 Graigslist find, it was complete but ruff. It did come with a set off alum. bellcranks on it. I have been colecting parts for a while, still need a few things, but I have enough to start.
I am building a runner to play around on the street with my son. It will have a Mccallister Camaro Bomber oval body with a Sunoco paint scheme, a set of Bolink chrome wheels and foam tires, lowering kit and oval body mount kit.
Still unsure on motor esc

Sweet deal I have one that I am working on getting right now. I think you will find that that Mcallister body will be a great fit for these old cars. My little brother just got him one.

Body has had its first trim and the tub is painted. I will try to post pic later.

Tub stripped and painted bright yellow , Body has first ruff trim and some of the decals first trim !
Hope to get back on it soon, I have been in the garage working on my 1:1 lately.

i'm just guessing that the body will be painted blue? you should dye the white chassis parts you have for it blue.

you are on it, that is the plan with the plastic. The body will be blue and yellow !
