Im a long time RC10 fan and actually lived only a few blocks from the original Edinger location back in the early 80's. I spent allot of time in that old shop and even owned some of the very first RC10's. Im still running them and have built my share of Shelf Queens. Here a link to the collection at Tamiya club.

The most recent project started over 3 years ago when I still lived in California. It got shelved when I decided to move to NC and just recently Ive had the time to get back to it. I decided to make it a father/son build so I could teach my 11 year old how to use the big boy toys ( lathe, mill and torch ).
Here's the nearly finished result. We'll get it wrapped up over the weekend and post action shots next week. Daniel

Great Build. I really like what you did with the front shock towers. Please post more pics when you get it done.

I saw this on Tamiyaclub and thought it looked fantastic. Would you consider producing another one for me?

It looks great, nice craftmanship, and I'm looking forward to see how the electronics fit.
How do you change the baterry actually?

How much you got to spend? Lets see 3 years to build at $8.00 and hour. Ya I like where this is going.
Honestly though I will be building another with a rare Moody gas conversion. A 3rd Sand Scorcher rail is also in the works.
Hows the battery go in? Well easy, straight through the front window, over the drive and dropped back into the holders. Getting it out is allot more fun....

I own Scalemotorcars.com a large scale model site with a VB forum about the size of this one so I'm not at all new to having people post pics of the stuff they find. I know some people can get a little steamed about that but not me. Totally cool with me. Glad to see its making the rounds.
Beach, nope sorry Im about 3 hours from the closest beach but I will be tearing it up at the track behind my house. How lucky to have one only 150 yards out the back door.

Thank you.
Sorry to say the collection posted at TC except for the rail have all gone to other collectors.
Still in the wings are several stock RC10's a few beater Sand Scorchers as donors for the SS rail, a "Carbon Tub RC10" waiting for a stock width CF nose plate and of course a small stash of insanely hard to find bits and pieces.

Wow, very nice build!
You might not remember but I bought a RC10T off of you on ebay a couple years ago. Anyhow, welcome to the site.

I got all the gear installed over the weekend. Swapped out the wheels (your nuts if you think Im running See's in the dirt) and found out I had to shim the rear arms so the dog-bones would stay but overall not to many hassles. Normal tweaking stuff.
My batteries have been in storage so long I wasn't able to get a full charge so the action shots aren't full of much action but Ill pick up a new pack and get better pics shortly.
