Is this an ultima outlaw or on road car?

Hey guys, I have been under the impression that I have an Ultima outlaw truck. I have been trying to find the rest of the parts needed to finish it. However when I was searching through ebay ads I found this.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350242672301&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

It labeled as a kyosho on road car. It looks exactly like mine except for the wheels/tires, top peice of rear body mount, and the ebay one has sway bars. The shocks have practically no travel only about 1/4" maybe 3/8". So it makes sense that it's an on road car.
If anyone has any chassis pics to compare mine too, that would be awesome.

Please help me with this one. I might be lookiing at buying the wrong parts for the wrong car.
Here's a pic of mine with the front bumper from the truck. The bumper isn't mounted it's just laying against it.

Here's a couple pics of the car on ebay.

They used the chassis on on road cars, search for RS500 Kyosho, I had one looks like that, the front shock tower on yours is definitely Kyosho same as on my Tracker and rampage :D

Thanks, although I can't seem to find any info anywhere. I looked through that topic. I have the outrage also which wouldn't be bad with some upgrades on it. Just mainly trying to find some pics of the ultima chassis that I have. Kinda weird I can't find anything on it.

Mine's got to be an onroad car. I have that front bumper in my parts pile. I never tried to mount it up to this chassis. Didn't know what it was for. My body mounts on the rear are right off the back of the shock tower instead of behind the motor. I can't really tell by the pic, but where are the front body posts?

These models they are actually connected on the body. It hooks onto that front grab bar seen in the pic. 8) design. they also used this type mounting on a few other of there models.

Oh wow, I had no idea. That's pretty cool, I will need to start finding stuff for this then. I four ultima wheels that I can use for now. So I will just need to find a body and tires.

My first hobby grade rc was a raider, then an outrage. I have a little soft spot for Kyosho as well.

Few questions,

Will the current size touring car bodies fit these?
Does anyone make tires that will fit the rims?
and finally What hopups are out there that I can do to these?

Answer to Question #
1 They may fit but you will have to modify them. ei wheel wells, find one that has a taller body line as they are made for the racers of today like mugen, serpent, kyosho which have sleeker lower profile chassis then back in the 80's and 90's. ( Side bar- I also race 1/10 and 1/8scale on-road cars )
2 there are aftermarket tires that will fit.Just know the correct rim size.
3 Faster motor.( Brushless ) Lipo Batteries. The options are endless now.
Hope that helps.
