OK, This was going to be my thread, but since work has me by the balls and can't go, I am hoping that someone takes the reigns and posts some pics and results. So have it and just have fun. Sorry again about not being able to go. Trust me, I'd rather be there.

Let us know how many(especially from the forum)show so we know how jealous to be.

They are just busy and having fun. When you don't have anything to run, like I did last year it made it easier to play reporter and photographer, not to mention I like doing that kind of thing.

It's my fault and self created frustration, just cause I wanted to go and I can't be there.

To the newbs that weren't around last year. We did have live coverage with practice/qual times and pics. I was planning on doing the same this year, but it just didn't work out. We will for the On Road Nationals in a few months. That one will be easy as Nashville is only a 2.5 hour drive for me.

Like Jay said, most of the guys will be playing now. Check back around 1030-11pm EST-- I bet several of them will upload pictures once they get back to their hotels.
I leave at 5am tomorrow (almost packed, but still finishing some work ) and I plan on dumping my pics to photobucket for everyone to see late Saturday and Sunday nights.

Ugh! You mean your not gonna do it by the minute! Just kidding.

Here are a couple of pictures that my wife took while I was wrenching on my cars and getting some practice in.

There was a good turnout for practice tonight, about 20 racers or so, we chose not to do any practice racing tonight, as everyone was beat, and it was already late, everyone was getting their machines ready, it's definitely going to be very competitive this year, but very fun.

We'll take more pictures tomorrow with everyone around, and hopefully some video footage of actual racing. So stay tuned, I'll try and do my best to keep you guys updated...

Hopefully I'll be able to take some pictures of the actual cars tomorrow...

As technica said, it's gonna be a great weekend. The track layout is fantastic. If anyone is hesitant to come because they're afraid of wrecking their old stuff, don't be worried. All of the jumps can be rolled and limit the potential for disaster.

the track layout is really cool, i'm probably one of, if not the least experienced dudes out here and even i can manage a decent lap time, although once other cars are on the track i get a little distracted...

if i can manage to be smooth enough and not pop a ball end during a heat i should do ok. i dunno how confident i am of that, since i must have popped a ball end off at least 15 times today.

Now I really am regretting no being able to make it. Is that the same nasty old hat hoopty had on last year? Three words, "New hat!" and "Gillette!" We know what to get him for Christmas. Good to see the Yokie Lama too!
