B2 rebuild

Hi all. :)

After seeing slotcarrod´s thread about his B2 runner I did feel an urge to (try) re-build mine which obviously was a mix between a B2 and a B3.
Have been trying to suck in as much info as possible about the B2 and this is todays stand, I added the following parts:

- 6210 Front carrier block
- 6221 Front steering block
- 7365 Hub Carrier
- 9210 Front kickup
- 9241 (dang, the wrong rear chassiplate) :|
- 9199 Chassis, standard length
- 9266 Rear susp. mounts
- 9480 Frt wheel (I had the rears already)
- 9255 Rear arms
- 9105 Front arms
- 9130 Front top-plate
- 9140 Front shock tower
- 9270 Rear shock tower
- 9275 Universals (used but in a pretty good condition)

What I still have to find are the nylon-nuts for the dampers and the black springclamps. It also was a big pain in the behind trying to find the screws (here in Germany we use the metricsystem) but finally I did find them (not the correct ones though since I assume those were black?)
All I can say is that I REALLY like this chassis and I am afraid that I have been affected by the AE - virus!! :D :D :D
Thx for looking.

Very nice car, it looks like all new parts. Shelf queen? It would be a shame to run with all the new parts on it, but what a nice car to run if you do want to!

Looks like you need a narrow rear chassis plate (under the motor is the same width as under the tranny). The one shown is for a B3.

Thank You! :) Yes, it would hurt too much to drive this one I think. Ops - thanks for mentioning that (rear-plate)!! I will continue my search! :D

I'd leave it on a shelf just like that. Looks like some kind of alien spider or something. Sit back jam some Opeth and stare at it for an hour or two. 8)

Looks good Tobbe, a handful of black shock springs (so they kind of hide ya know...) and I'll shelf it just like that.

There's a guy up your way named Michael (he goes by siebenelch on here and a few other boards too I think), you might want to try and make contact with him. It's always good to have someone near by, especially with the same addiction ;)

Hi all :D
Finally found the parts that were missing: the correct rear chassi-plate, nylonnuts and a Sport-body + dampers. It was quite a challenge to find everything but it all went well. A friend on a swedish RC-forum contacted me and said that he had the plate I was looking for, Sport-dampers and body + wing, all of it never used, I don´t need to say that I was happy! :D :D :D
I wasn´t sure if I should keep the teflondampers mounted but in the end I went for these ones since they really appeal to me, optically :D
Hope You´ll like it. Have a great week!

Love the look of the black & gold - very nice & well done 8)

I remember a few of my friends running these back in the day, they always seemed far more skittish & lively than my Losi XX - but in the hands of a good driver were certainly effective!

Very nice. this is mine http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4227&start=0

I remember I gave my team Car in trade in for this B2, raced it a couple of times. It was a B3 for some time and then I restore it to the B2 I was racing. I will update photos soon, now I have the original wheels on it.

Can any kind soul advise me on the total length of B2's front and rear arms? Thanks in advance.
