Hi all,I have been running my 10t a fair bit lately and am having trouble finding the correct gearing for my CO27 stock motor.Im running a 90 tooth spur, this is the biggest I can find and a 16 tooth pinion and it is getting way too hot.Is anyone else out there running a rebuildable stock motor that could tell me the right gearing? Thanks,James.

what tires are you running? are you racing or bashing? overall tire height can make a big difference in gearing needs.

You're going to have to go to a smaller pinion. The original Stealth gear ratio wasn't really truck+stock motor friendly. If you can, pick up a MIP Change Box or the RPM conversion. They both raise the internal ratio to where you can use reasonably sized spur and pinion gears. If neither of the transmissions are an option, pick up some small pinions and drop a few teeth.
