Seeing all the great paint jobs in this section has made me realize how few paint jobs I have actually completed and how far I have to go, skill wise. Anyway here are a couple that I have done fairly recently.

I particularly like the X2 scheme.

You know, it is very often that the simplest of paint schemes actually present the best.
Both of these siple layouts are clean, great to look at and most importantly: would be easy to see on the track if you racer them.
Very nice work mate.

Thank you guys, that is encouraging! I prefer the simple schemes too. I try to make them complement the car. The JRX2 scheme was actually done on an almost totally trashed body. I polished the crap out of it and hacked the back end off because it was so bad. The nose had a big penny sized hole that I patched and covered with a sticker, as well as what appeared to be a cigarette burn. Considering it had never been painted this shell has lead a tough life!
