Another question. Again, not looking for $ amounts or to sell. I have a few examples pictured and quite a few more on the wall and in boxes some where. Would these parts be better left alone or go ahead and use them on a build. I have probably used quite a few of these already before learning that AE moved and that Edinger parts are harder to come by than the Cadillac ones. I feel like an a** for how many I have wasted and given away in the past.

Not sure if you should use them or not, but it looks like your peg board is getting a bit heavy. I'll take a couple of those NIP white rear bulkheads.

I used to have about 20 of them from a hobby store close out at $1.00. My wife was ticked that I spent $20 on the same parts. I am now down to 6 from different builds. Time machines would be awesome!

Personally, I'd pull those white parts out of the light and put them in a box, just to keep them from the UV light.

I need to find something like this in LHS where they sell off all these nifty parts

I was lucky to find some Tamiya parts I was looking for when LHS was clearing out old items but I was really never into RC10s ..until now

Don't, as most of the time the physical part is exactly the same as it would be in an early or even later Cadillac addressed package. The address on the package doesn't mean the actual part is any rarer necessarily. They just moved a bunch of crates of stuff across town, that's all. But sure if you are into the sentiment of it all, keep them a dark box, the address does provide a sort of date stamp in a way.

Take those ball cups in you first photo for example...exacly the same part for years...unless they happened to be totally smooth without the little hex colar up near the ball..but that's a whole 'nother can-o-worms... i mean thread.

I have some NIB that are totally smooth without the little hex collar. I though about using them on an old runner but decided to wait.
How worth are they? I might be willing to trade if someone really needs them for a shelve queen.

There's another forum for those questions, and your offer. They're worth whatever someone may trade for them. Cool, worn out, old looking package! That would be cool collection to start, just "stuff with the E word on it", OIP or "Old in package" For me personally, a runner would not be the place for those, IMO. -Brian

I am with you Brian, I am actually not planning to trade them or sell them, only if I know it is going to good hands. I think it is a nice OIP thing to have.

Thanks for the input. I do not plan on selling them any time soon. I just didn't know if they were anything more special than the Cadillac ones. I have plenty of Cadillac parts for now so I will use them first.

I tried to find a thread with the ball cups and could not. What is the significance of the cups without the hex. Thanks.

I don't think that subject has been covered here before. Very early production...look at the 1985 date on the price sticker. First NIP set I've ever seen.
