This is my Ultima Pro, it's a bit of a project and I was wondering what parts maybe available, were there any composite chassis/shock towers made for these cars

One more really really nice car

I had an Ultima when I was young, excellent car, I used it for years and race it a couple of time. I really loved that car...unfortunately, my parents trashed it when I was student

Cool more pics of my favourite.
Are those cat tires? They were very popular around that time.
Phew, that carbon chassis must have cost a fortune.
I was always checking on it in the shop, but could never afford one back in the days when I was still driving my ultima as a buggy.
Once it got converted into a stadium truck: using a Turbo Ultima 'box' chassis I completely forgot about the carbon further.
That box chassis is stiffer than you could ever wish (double or triple the original ultima box chassis) and I never liked the Pro's saddle pack layout really.
The standard: transverse stick mount isn't better, but with some tweaks you can run the battery lengthwise in the box chassis .
Back to stock:
There seem to be 2 Ultima-Pro versions
(No, not talking about he Ultima ProII)
I had a box with a white body, and on the net there are pics of another box; with a black body.
The bodies seem identical further, even the stickers I believe.
Does anybody know the story behind it? And are there other differences between those 2 versions?

I got the wheels/tyres from Shodog (thank you) the tyres are Amark not Schumacher but they are very similar. I used to race this version and do not know the difference between the white/green and the black/red one but I do know someone will. I would like a composite chassis and shock tower set for this car as (and don't tell anyone) the chassis on this one is standard with carbon fibre effect covering

looks good though.

The towers are not composite? I thought the Pro came with Graphite towers? I know that Kyosho offered them as "Special Damper Stay." Trinity made a graphite chassis... it is the one that Joel Johnson made (I am sure that is was a CC chassis with a Trinity header card on it).

This one I'm sure: the towers that came with the Ultima Pro were black (glassfibre)epoxy. Just like in the pics.
Carbon was really catching on that time, but really expensive too. So Kyosho gave you the looks only for this model.
The label "special" is porbably to differentiate it from the original ultima's aluminium stays (sorter for use with red shocks)
The Pro2 had some kind of composite chassis not sure which. Maybe it had different stays too?
