I have had this kit for awhile now . I finally took the time to look at the manual. My god there must be a least 35 to 40 bearings in this car. What was tamiya thinking about on this one. I love the looks of this buggy but it seems they over engineered it .

there are a total of 2 bronze bushings on every tierod end and 2 on the part that attaches to it. I recently restored one and I couldn't believe the weight. I'd love to get bearngs for it, but I'll leave it stock for now.

Here's my Astute.

I think I'll probably build some kind of custom car with this chassis. Not enough left of the car to restore.
