1991; the RC10T prototypes had them that spring. There is an article from RC Model Cars magazine, which ran a little before the RCCA piece, that showed Cliff Lett's truck using a cut-down nose plate from a buggy.

I think that was the First RCCA issue I bought, pretty sure iIstill have it too. Prior to that I had my heart on a JRX-T. Seeing that article had me looking at AE and I really haven't looked back since.

I built this one to run in the vintage class at the local track back in 1998... The green and pink chassis' and both truck and buggy nose plates were on clearance from AE at the time ($15 chassis, $3 nose plates... :shock: ), and it really wasn't too hard to build a complete white car with new parts.

when i went on associateds website back in the day all they had was noses left and no chassis :( i will probably powder coat one of my scratched up black chassis so i can finally have one....kinda
