Kyosho Sand Skipper, VW Bug & Toyota Truck

Here is another ad of some mystery vehicles that were being sold by Hobby Shack in 1982. I always thought they were cheap knock-offs of the Tamiya Sand Scorcher until I noticed the Kyosho decal on the front of the Sand Skipper. This ad was in color but I messed up saving it and thus it's b&w. I'll post color soon.

I saw one of those NIB in Japan. Didn't get it because of the smaller scale and rather toy-grade ... maybe made a mistake.
First time Is ee the bug though, I'm almost certain I'd have bought it immedialtely if I came across that.

I have one of the sand skippers in almost new built condition. A really cool buggy for it's time.
