last night I worked a deal out with a guy off craigslist and bought this 2005 Honda CBR 1000RR. The acceleration leaves you speechless. About all you can say is Holy$hit! The katana and the exwife's CRF150 are going bye bye to help pay for it. It's a bike I always wanted but was never able to get. My longer term plan is to freshen it up with some Rothmans liveried fairings.

Nice bike!

I'm not a bike guy, but I was talking to a guy a few weeks ago that had a 2009 Yamaha VMAX. That thing looked like the Batcycle or something. Wicked fast. My father-in-law has a 2005(I think) VMAX. He says it vibrates like crazy though. He has a '64 Sportster that he bought original in '64 that he just restored like new. I like that one better than the new ones.

Reminds me of the 1998 Honda CBR600 F3 (Smokin' Joe's) Replica I always wanted.

Tell me about it, it will wheelie in a heartbeat. I caught a bit of unicycle action on the onramp to the freeway this morning.

Very nice , stock exhaust ? I've been staring at the Repsol replicas for the last several years now.
