Cox Bandido restoration

I got these 2 cars from redscampi in a trade. I plan to tear them down, clean all parts, and make one good one outta all the parts. also in a upcoming trade, I might be getting a few new parts , so with those I should be able to make at least one real nice bandido. I might even be getting a few more in upcoming trades. All will be shelfers though. With the design of the dog bones, and the parts the dog bone slide into, I'm afraid they would strip out. After that, they are done. I think I'll rig one up with Tamiya Black Foot or Frog transmission parts and dog bones. I'll post pics as I progress.

heres some pics of the tear down. the car in pieces is the one i plan to make a nice one out of. the one that is whole, im robbing parts from . basically taking all the nicest parts to make one.

Looks like fun Matt! Get some plastic polish at the auto parts store and you can really get that plastic to shine. Removes some scratches too!
