Well being from a ho scale train background i feel the need to do a scene. So im staring with this tamiya tire changer a custom painted Chuck Augest body. I think a veiw of the pits will look cool.

Where on earth did you find a Chuck August painted body??? Chuck was one of the fast guys when I started racing in 1978. What a character! He wore a rebel hat most of the time, announced/organized races, and was a member of the infamous "Barbary Coast Sweats" racing team. He painted a lot of custom bodies, did a great job with USA flags and candy apple red paint. I think one of his waving flag paint jobs is on one of Associated's gas kit boxes.
Didn't the weight saver 12E car come with a fiberglass radio tray?
