Don't think I've ever heard of it. When was it done?

I have a CD with the Arlo Guthrie song on it. We whip it out every Turkey Day. It's become a family tradition.

Listen to it on the local radio station every year. Didn't know there was a movie though. Huh.

My sister hated that album. We always fought over Three Dog Night, Allman Brothers, Arlo Guthrie, Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen and Steppenwolf (my tastes) versus Shaun Cassidy, Donnie & Marie, Jackson 5 and any K-Tel record (hers) as we only had the one phonograph.
At one point I recited the entire song on my reel-to-reel.

I heard it last night on the radio while we were driving around looking for someplace open that served food, no luck.

i ended up going to 7-11 yesterday and getting a couple totinos party pizzas... same thing happened last year, but that time i got a sandwich and a burrito... it sucks when even the fast food joints are all shut down.

That's about the time you should toss a turkey and the Webber into the back of the zuki and head for the hills. A 12 pound bird will give you about 4-1/2 hours of wheeling time before it's ready.

She did have that album....

HRL is good, but their cover of Tex Williams' Smoke, Smoke, Smoke that Cigarette was my favorite. Nothing like a 9-year-old belting out the lyrics "Tell Saint Peter at the golden gate, Lord, you hate to make him wait, you gotta have another cigarette".
