I know the forum is aimed more at the older stuff but thought I would share my new passion.I have never really understood what all the fuss was about with the drift sceen but now I have been bitten by the bug.I even went out and bought a set of LEDs and fake disk brakes which I allways thought were just for nerds.We run at a great facillity on Tuesday and Thursday nights.The LEDs really help you see your car when its going under the bridges.I went for the old skool look with a classic GTR Skyline on TAO3 pro chassis.I built both my Nephews cars aswell and they love it as much as me.It has non of the preasures of racing.I will get some action shots tonight.

Looks like that is a great track! Are you Stateside? By the looks of the track, my guess would be not.

The track is in Brisbane Australia only a 20 minute drive for me.They only charge a gold coin donation so I think the guy must own the complex and not paying rent so hopefully it will be around for a while.I just found out there is another local indoor drift centre that run every Friday and Saturday night so we will be checking that one out this weekend.Thanks for the complement on the car.Everyone else runs the modern stuff but I like to be different.Just found an interior out of an old Kyosho rally car so will have to fit that before I leave.

That has to be the nicest indoor track I think I've ever seen.

the track reminds me of a proper slot car track, like a blue king. looks like it would be a real hoot to run 1/18 scale on as well!
