Just wondering if a natural disaster has struck all of the Post Offices in NZ or something, I've looked on you-tube and yahoo, can't seem to find anything about it. Does the country take the entire month of November off? Any input would be appreciated

Just ruling out all options, trying to find a package that may or may not have been sent to me, thought with all of the earthquakes and glaciers something bad might have happened to the postal service in it's entirety. Guess i'll move on to the next logical problem.

Thanks for the info Pete

No problem it can be damn slow sometimes..sending a parcel about the size of an rc car would cost about $90 tracked which would take up to 10 days..but if you use the cheaper option which is untracked... still costs about $45-$50 and can take over a month..it can be very frustrating :?

Don't forget it is getting that time of year as well where Christmas mail is going to affect things.

Yep, Pete sent me 2 packages approx a week apart and the second package got to me at about 3 weeks and the first package he sent me actually came a week later making it approx 5 weeks to get to me. Verified the dates and all and it was just frustrating to try to figure it out so I was just happy they made the trip  .

Thanx again Pete for the dealings and helping figure out the reasoning behind it.
