RC10L Style Motor Plate ID (? After-market ?)

I have a plate that has been extensively machined, and does not look to be a "home-brew Special". It looks to machined from a single piece, as the face and ridge have machining marks, and are the same dimensions as a standard AE item. I have attached pictures with an original RC10L item.

Thanks

It might be a home job, but I have received both expamples in new kits over the years. If you look on hte 12L box you can see an exam[le of the milled one. i allways thought the un machined one was for the 1/10th sacle cars and the milled one was for 1/12th.

I have seen the machined style that had the bottom portion machined as on the RC12LC. But not like this one
