Tell me if this is just me you have three projects going at once and tell yourself im finishing this one before i do anything else and then bam. Next thing you know theres another car completly torn down on your bench Oh well this one is making some progress i started with some 3m scotch pad and mineral spirits and cleaned up the chassis and used some of that new spray paint for "all surfaces" well let me tell ya not quit so easy but got it done. I sanded down the kydex bumper with 400 grit on my mini orbital turns out great just no shine i might try clear gloss one of these times.

i got one of them minty fresh, one nib, and one basher. any one know what year these came out? my worse condtion one has a single stick 2 channle radio, the kind people would take slot car track controlers and rig to em to make the controller pistol type

So i got a little time last night to true up some foam dounuts and mount my front suspension and motor.

Ryan- is that an Associated body post on the first picture? If it is, did you just do that to see if anyone would notice? Looks great!!

The three tray posts look like RC300 radio plate posts too.

RC12e - RC12i most likely.

The front body post is the correct one allthough i replaced it with a different jerobee one and the tray posts are 12e. Group 12 was a combination of jerobee / bolink / parma / and associated so all the parts where compatible the correct wheels are actually 12e wheels they used the fronts backwards to get the wright spacing. I was going to go all original but strayed away i also have a bolink euro tray coming (red).

that's a very interesting car. Never seen anything like that. what kind of plastic is that, and when/where were they popular?

Does it have any springs on the front end? And it looks like nothing to speak of for a rear suspension.

Hard plastic not sure exactly they where popular in the mid 70's to early 80's

Allright the wait was worth it found a nip jerobee bmw m1. Now the question is to decal or not to decal? What do you think?

Is that body paper (literally... I mean paper) thin? I have two that I can't believe someone was able to successfully pull without breaking through.
