For some time now we have been having social vintage get togethers at a local track that remains untouched since the 80s.
It has become more popular with guys from Tamiya club coming for a run.
The local council were kind enough to do some repairs to the track and refurbish the toilet block.
We end up chatting about our old cars as much as we run them.
Here are some pics from our meeting today, unfortunatly non of my action shots turned out.
We are running again on the 28.12.09 so I will update with more pics then.

It looks warm there, I'm really jealous. I'm about to go race at a little indoor track in full winter gear

Tamiya allways seems to outnumbers all other brands at this kind of events. And going from the models that's not only due to the re-re's.
I like the dynamics of the top picture: cool shot!

Yeah I've been going to this vintage meet for a few months now(I own the blue Subaru in the middle and the Silver Camaro with big wheels), we have a great bunch of guys, the track is heaps of fun and a good way to meet likeminded people and swap tips and sometimes even parts. Great atmosphere and perfect weather most of the time. It's a good mix of vintage cars, not just tamiyas.

Great stuff , looks like a cool meet so to speak. That first action picture is brilliant, are the rest of the action pics like that. I love the way the cast off dirt from the wheels looks like its still moving and the way the car looks clearer compaired to the blur of the backround. Great shot
