Hello all, this is my 1st post on here. so here is goes I'm not new to rc's (I have 2 hpi bajas had lots of nitros and electric), my 1st rc was a rc10 gold pan and rc10t years ago (80's and 90s). I just picked up a rc10 gold pan and missing a couple of things like spur gear, turnbuckle, body wing, front shocks, front rims and needs tires all around. so have a couple of questions for you guys, what and where are you guys using for parts to keep them up to date? I will be running this one so I would like to keep it in tip top shape.
thanks,
Steve

Mostly to keep them up, just NOS parts, or for runners, lightly used parts work well, with a few mods you can convert to 2.2 tires and rims, and any 8 hole AE pan car spur will work, threaded 4/40 rod for the camber links, shocks have more than one option-current AE's, and AE still has the Protech avail through Tower from time to time--

have a look around here, you'll find lots of great info!

Steve,
yep but you'll need a buttload of parts like getting front and rear arms/turnbuckles/front and rear shock towers/shocks/body/body mounts/ steering assy/wheels and tires. I think I got it all :?

It would be easier and cheaper for you to just pick up a nice runner off of ebay. Some really nice runners have been getting had for around the 50 buck range. I've seen some really nice ones going for around the 75 buck range too so by the time you pick up all the above parts you could have had another one to mess with and still have your buggy. Just my opinion anyway...and that is the recipe for addiction

Ya, except the tranny, your goldpan is not drilled for the stealth, but my 10T has the 6 gear in it, you have to modify the front kickup to fit the T's narrower bulkhead though
