RC car Museum

I've been helping a friend of mine shift into his new RC centre. We have been painting and cleaning the new building most nights and weekends for the last 2 months often until 3.00am ... This builing is huge..4 floors of 3000 square foot a floor..anyway part of the shop will be an RC museum and will house the collection of some 400 rc cars including the first 100 Tamiya cars, most Kyosho cars and a few other random cars..don't worry my RC10's are going to be on display there along with the rest of my collection...we are encouraging other collectors to display their rare cars here as well...I've also picked up a few cars from my friend that he's no longer interested in..check the BST section
Now this part will blow you away he purchased the building for $NZ75,000 or in your money $US54,500.00..the down side is that the land is lease hold but he has a lease for 50 years with the land owners at $750 a year. It is in an older part of town but most of the surrounding buildings have apartments in them and a large hotel is being built on the next street over.
It looks like we are going to use one complete floor for RC racing including a offroad course so we can hire Slashes to local kids to get them into the hobby..there will also be an onroad carpet track. The shop area itself will also include an area where restorations and repairs are undertaken. We are going to build a shelf version of each car, then part out the thousands of parts we have on ebay. That's where I come into it I will be running the shop and loading the parts onto ebay as well as serving customers and ordering stock...this will be by far the biggest RC centre in New Zealand. It is in an ideal position beside the cutural museums and close to the port where the cruise ships berth.
Anyway I've included a couple of pictures of the vintage stuff stacked up (there are 3 rooms like this) and of the shop itself.
