Where Have They Gone?

Who's been here the longest, besides the Mods? I know that 10Talk doesn't have the history of Clodtalk, but the community is much the same, a great group with a core membership with a few that have come and gone that are now missed.
I'm probably in the top 10 of the first members, though since I'm not a buggy guy, I don't consider myself a founding member. For those that know me, I enjoy the camaraderie of a great group who appreciates the lighter side of life. The only one I that I know of that isn't here anymore is Tadracket. He isn't able to be here anymore because his work black listed 10Talk. I do, however, still have regular email contact with him and can assure everyone that he's alive and well and very much misses not being able to come here to play.
So, who's been here from the start? And, who's no longer here that you miss seeing?

Go back to Clodtalk Halgar-, this is a ridiculous and unmeaningful post, otherwise, a waste of time.

What if it were wrapped in pink undies with daisies?

Whoops, should have actually read the post before commenting on it

, I'm just used to shrugging off anything you put forth

I'll try to be more open minded to your posts after this one-
Sillenbech (spelling) was a neat member that was here alot when I first joined, hell we even have a car design named after him!
But the panties thing, I shall forever be remembered for

, I got him there

Roll over anyone's username (or the PROFILE button in any of their posts), look at the URL in the bottom of the browser status bar, and you'll see their user number at the end of the URL—in order of registration. Verify date by clicking the profile and looking at the Registration date.

I was searching "where have my pink panties gone" on Yahoo and ended up here...

The search will continue for my undies, but as for where they've gone my view is this: For me this forum is a social site with a common background built around r/c. A lot of great people with at least one common interest and usually many more. R/C I think is an in and out hobby for a lot of people. Myself included to an extent. A lot of people join when their interest in r/c is high, bit lose interest in r/c and therefore the forum. The good thing is that there are a good number of people who stick around. I wish I'd found it sooner...

Good to know, thank you for that info, however that doesn't really speak to who has been here that either isn't here as much or has left altogether. Who's left their mark on you, Rouge?
Charlie, still not reading yet, eh?
Tree, there's a "quote" button at the top right corner of every post. If you click that instead of "reply" you will get the entire post of whomever you're quoting, including previous quotes by that (those ) posters. You can further edit a quoted post by highlighting and deleting anything that is not pertinent to what you wish to respond.

He works for Cape Fear Community College, in the IT department of all places. I keep trying to get him to hack the system or persuade his boss that 10Talk needs to be allowed, but so far it's no go. Our next plot is to take over the world. Charlie's got the pinkie (undies ), now all we need is a brain ...
Thumbs, I hear ya, and unfortunately, this is an all too common occurance. There are a few of us, however, that stick to the friends we've made, regardless of our affinity for things RC. My interests come and go all the time, in respect to running or building RC rigs (mostly gone ), but the enjoyment of hanging out with online friends makes it tough not to stick around, even when I'm not into the hobby much.
Charlie ...

He could, if he'd ever turn on his home computer. The lazy bastid thinks that because he messes with the darned things all day, he shouldn't play with them at night too. A sick line of thinking, if you ask me.
Nah, I kid. I used to be in construction, and just as the cobblers children go barefoot, the tradesman's home goes unfinished! LOL The last thing I wanted to do in my off hours was work on my own house. Even now that I've changed professions, I still don't want to work on my own house. Maybe if I sell pink undies to Charlie I can afford to hire out the work ...

It's funny, I joined RC10talk in 2006, which puts me as user 49. But, I didn't post until almost a year later. I registered then totally forgot. When I "found" the site again, I tried to register but was told my e-mail address was already in use. LOL! Memory is the first thing to go.
