As far as mounting a body, simply use velcro on the chassis sides to hold it on. Works great, no body post holes either.

I've got a buggy body on the way for my B chassis RC10T. I'll post some photos of the finished product when I'm done. Just sitting here twiddling my fingers impatiently now though.
BTW, I'm just gonna leave the truck wheels/tires on it... I am simply trying to avoid all the additional crap that gets inside the chassis from the loose fitting truck body.

I don't have a 10t but here are some pics of a b3 chassis with t3 suspension. Just something I put together while layed off the summer.

Nice "buggy"! I bet that thing works well. BITD we raced RC10GT's with buggy slicks as a second "fun" class at the on road track. I had more fun racing them than the Serpents! At the World of Wheels, we had an off road carpet track set up and I put buggy wheels on my sons T4, it turned the fastest lap times!

Good stuff!

My RC10 Protech body came in the mail today from Tower.
Along with 3 spurs, a Robinson pinion 6-pack odd sizes, Proline Dirtworks rear tires and some body clips... oooooh aaaaaaah :D
O HAPPY DAY

I've got my 10T set up with an original RC10CE shell. I cut the front end off just before the front shock tower and use Velcro on the sides of the chassis as one of the posters above mentioned. With the skinny front tires, it looks like a giant buggy.

Chicago... did you just put the velcro over the paint?
Seems like the paint layer would just rip off.
Thanks

Yeah, Velcro is right on top of the paint. This is actually done this with all of my shells so I can change between truck and buggy without adding or removing body posts. I have had some paint come off one of my shells, but it could be that I didn't clean the body very well before painting. Either way, you do have to be somewhat careful taking them on and off (grab the velcro directly when removing the shell) but to me the risk is worth the convenience.
