Open in a new window... Please

This is the only forum I've visited where links open in the same window so you must use the back button to return to RC10talk.
Am I missing that option somewhere in user control?
I much prefer links to open in a new window.
I am in such a habit of clicking link windows off, I always inadvertently click RC10talk off because I think I'm done with the link.
Please make it stop!

the last couple new forum updates don't allow it. so all you can do is right click, then click on "open in a new window".

couple internet explorer tricks.

1. Click on a link with the "center scroll wheel" (most mice u can use the center wheel to click too), will open a link in a new tab. Holding the Ctrl Key while clicking a link does that too

2. Holding the shift key, will open in a new window

3. Pressing ALT + D will take the typing cursor to the top to enter a new address without using the mouse to have to click the top

4. While in the address bar, if you just enter "yahoo" by itself, not www. or .com, just enter a domain like rc10talk Press Ctrl + Enter and it will automatically add .com and www.

SO to combo this... lets say you wanna goto a new website
Press ALT + D
Enter rc10talk
Press Ctrl + Enter
and bam you are there

I run IPB message boards and they've started this too. Its annoying because you have to remember to manually open the link in a new window. I'm sure I could mod the code to fix it but its just the stupidity of the thing.
