I'm new to the forum but not new to the hobby. I began racing before the release of the RC10 and have raced every version since it's release. It's great to see the interest in the vintage cars! Unfortunately, I tossed all my equipment over the years except my Composite Craft/Houge trailing arm car. As I rebuild the car I keep running into roadblocks with the rear wheels. The B2/B3 wheels fit and function correctly, but as we all know they are impossible to find! Has anyone figured out any conversion for the trailing arm cars yet?

I'm pretty sure that the b2/3 style wheels are still available, but not with an AE label. They are available from Thunder tiger, which still has a car that is basically a b3. email Kipp at www.kippshobbies.com He had some of the TT wheels in stock last time I was there. I am not sure the exact name/part# or I would have put a link.

I've been driving myself (and my lhs) crazy looking for these wheels. You are correct, sir! Thanks.

Now can you tell me where to find a new bulkhead or the aluminum Robinson Racing arms for this car?

ebay will be your best bet, unless you know some out of the way hobby shop that's been around for 25 year and no one on this site knows about it.

i have never...... ever seen aluminum arms made by robinson racing. i've never seen any arms period from robinson. not for the rc10, anyway.

They were an exact copy of the Houge arms, but in aluminum. I have pictures here somewhere. I will see if I can find them.

I know Houge made the plastic ones, but did he make the aluminum ones too?

Apparently Duratrax 2.2 wheels for the Evader will fit too, they have the correct offset and are readily available from Tower. The plastic isn't as nice as the current wheels but probably good enough. I haven't tried them yet, still deciding if I want to stay with the stock rear end or change hubs/CVD's to use current offset rims.

Were the arms from the A&L conversion aluminum or Nylon? Can't remember.
