Page 92 in particular. Just a scan would be fine. My dad claims he has it... he just can't put his finger on them right now.
There's a pic of me at 15.

My father found this issue and the 1988 one when I got my AMA scholarship. I'll see if I can get a decent scan and post them up.

Ok... ready for a good laugh? A few old District I reports from the back pages of Model Aviation. FYI my last name is Tate.
This is from 1985:
And a little later in 1988:

Yep, you could buy a house and a nice used Packard for that....
Just kidding. It was a good chunk of change though. I'm hoping my kids are AMA members when they graduate HS too and at least apply for those scholarships.

Haha.
Do your kids fly now? I plan on getting mine a lifetime membership when they are old enough to start.

The kids are getting their feet wet with some Tamiya builds for now. They've both flown the Blade mCX micro helicopter and I have the Parkzone micro Cub they will be trying soon.
All my flying stuff is still at my folk's house... and all the radio frequencies we used are illegal now.

Another expense that I am not looking forward to, although I can get one radio and multiple receivers with today's technology.
I have a few kits that I built (Piper Cherokee, Eindecker) and never installed running gear, so we may try some brushless setups. My kids are 8 & 10, so I figure in the next 2-3 years I'll move all the flying stuff over here. My wife has already given in to the fact that I am taking over 1/2 of the basement for hobby stuff.

Between buggys, 1/36 scale track, and a Tyco track I may have to stake a claim to even more space.
