Wheels for an original Blackfoot

Does anyone know what "chrome" wheels are available today that would fit the original Blackfoot? I don't know if the Blackfoot axles are completely different than the cars and trucks today. I'm hoping to find wheels with holes or slots and not spokes.
Thanks.

if u look hard enough, u can still find HPI 5 spoke truck wheels in all colors. they are universal fit and i use them on my blackfoot and lunchbox.

delsami thanks. I have found the HPI 5 spokes but I'd like to get the wheels with the holes or slots similiar to the factory ones. Did you have to use special adapters and what about the wheel bearings? Thanks.

You can still buy those HPI wheels through tower hobbies.

the hpi five spokes both front and rear are packaged with the adaptors for the blackfoot . Just have to supply the 5x11 bearings or bushings for the fronts. I have a set white five spokes on a blackfoot project. chrome rims pop up on ebay sometimes just have to keep checking. If you have deep pockets a set of see's rims look cool to.

The Sees wheels that I like just went for over $160 on Ebay. That is the style of wheel that I want. I really didn't wanna get the spoke type.

i think i put traxxas sledgehammer chrome wheels on mine back in the day,but good luck finding them now... try frog adaptors http://cgi.ebay.com/OP913-Tamiya-The-Frog-2005-Aluminum-Wheel-Adapter_W0QQitemZ350272155123QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Control_Parts_Accessories?hash=item518dd8edf3 and nitro (not electric!!!) rustler wheels http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/products/wheels/truck/Revolver.htm you may want to ask around but i think that will work

HPI front and rear adaptors.

Not sure what size hex these are. I'm guessing 12mm.

Not sure if you'll even need fronts.

RPM said they have sold wheels to Blackfoot owners but didn't know the sizes or which Blackfoot they were for. I don't know if the 3 different Blackfoots are the same or different. The Nitro wheels from RPM should fit and they told me the bearing size. Now to figure out what to do about the rear.

Now to complicate matters is I have a Thorp rearend in the truck which has it's own adapters for the Blackfoot wheels. Since I don't have the original parts I don't know if I'll need an adaptor for the Thorp adapter or the adapters just clamp on the axles. The Thorp adapters just clamp to the rear axles. I guess any adapter must clamp on somehow because the axle is just round with nothing to actually drive a wheel with.

Looking at the Frog adaptors I don't think that would work. The ones from Tower hobbies look like they might work.

Anyone know what the front axle size is for the Blackfoot / Sand Scorcher?

My RC10 has the CRP Blackfoot front axle adaptors; just curious what the size is in case there are any other wheels that could fit... Saw the mention of 5x11 bearings, meaning the axle is 5mm?

I have the plastic RC10 to Blackfoot adaptors in the rear; would it be too sketchy to use the HPI hex adaptor with the RC10 to Blackfoot adaptor?
