This site is damn cool I've spent hours going over all of the photos taken by different people covering different periods of the USA's history..even found Reggie and his Kombi van ... there seems to be a lot of smoke "Inside" the van..also found a picture of a buggy used by Steve McQueen ... be sure to scroll down the right hand side and click on the different photographers...my personal favourite is of the guys standing around the front of the store...the ones that made the biggest impression are of the great depression....this is really cool..http://theselvedgeyard.wordpress.com/2009/11/18/william-gedney-an-american-archive-kentucky/

That might be one of the coolest vehicles I've ever seen. I can't believe I've never seen it before today. I found this page after a little google search:
http://www.blazeofgloryoffroad.com/2009/12/classic-baja-buggy-steve-mcqueens-baja.html

Do you have a link where you found all those images?

 that's all I've been doing for the last few hours ... when you look at how people suffered during the great depression it makes me realize that what we are in now it nothing compared to that..very sobering..
