My other money pit

Here are some pics of my other hobby. Unfortunately I won't be able to pilot it this year due to my surgery. My cousin is going to run it until I recover.
In the RC10talk tradition, a naked pic.
This was the first time it moved under its own power. About the only thing we needed to do to finish it was hang the body.

All painted and stickered for the first race of the year at Crandon.

It didn't look pretty for long! This happened on the second lap of practice when the throttle stuck open over one of the biggest jumps on the track. It nosed in HARD on the left front shearing the spindle off and bending the I beam. I was lucky that it didn't wreck any of the $150 a piece Fox shocks!

This is a pic later in the year with a different paint job. Unfortunately we took the pic after the first race of the weekend. As you can see, this is a contact sport! It looked really good before the race!

I wish I had some on track pics. I gotta work on that this year. Its going to be hard sitting on the sidelines this year but I know my cousin has what it takes to win. Also, it will be the second full season on the truck so when I get back behind the wheel all the bugs should be worked out by then!
Hope you enjoy the pics!
Oh, by the way! We are always looking for sponsors!
