removing crazy glue from tires without ruining them?????

Hey Guys,
I have a set of losi tires that look practically brand new, but the glue job was pretty poor. I don't know the model of the tire, but it looks like a short step pin stubby stock kit type tire.
normally, I wouldn't care about extra glue, but it looks like the tire wasn't properly fitted to the wheel while it was glued, so the bead isn't flat and won't mount to a rim cleanly. the glue is in pretty thick sections, i could take a really long time and chip and grind it off i suppose, but I'm hoping to maybe dissolve it a little easier, at least the really thick sections.
I have some crazy glue remover, and acetone, does this stuff ruin the rubber? I'm not sure, and was hoping someone who had experience could let me know before i potentially ruin the tires.
I've heard people microwaving tires and wheels to remove the rubber, but does that damage the rubber in the process?
I'm thinking I should be OK, and I think I should know this, but I'm just not sure.
thanks!

thanks man! I'll try the oven trick first.....then if that doesn't work, go with the acetone trick.....

I haven't used it yet, but there is UN-Cure available and I have some, just haven't had the courage to try it yet.

well, i forgot to add my final results to this thread.......but here is what i did.....
i placed the tire in some boiling water for a few minutes.....afterwards, i cooled it off just enough to try picking at the glue. This didn't do too much. So since I was right there in the kitchen, I popped it in the freezer, for maybe a couple hours.....
this made the glue turn kind of white and brittle. I was able to scratch off some of the thin stuff on the sidewall, but the thick chunks were still no go.
I have some CA debonder, which was kind of a pinkish gel, so i started rubbing it onto the glue chunks, and into all the cracks.
this kind of softened the glue, but at this point, I was able to use a sharp xacto, and scrape and pick at the glue until some of it started to come off. The glue was in the bead, so I was able to kind of split the glue away from the rubber, taking off a slight shave of the rubber with the glue chunks. the acetone in the debonder basically made the seam between the glue and rubber easier to find, and I was able to slice between them with the xacto blade.
so the tire is usable now, the bead got a little soft and larger, but it appears to be acceptable now. definitely for a runner type application now, but the tires didn't cost me anything but a little time and debonder.

I would say try freezing them for a good long day or so.....the cold temp is supposed to make the glue brittle and help to debond it. I know after I had it in the freezer, the thin stuff was easily scratched (mostly) off. the rubber will also change diameter at a different rate than the wheels, and that might help.
