Just got hold of one, gonna put it in an oval build. do they free up the gearbox a noticeable amount? or is it just fluff for the most part?

i run them in all of my oval rides, they were the hot ticket b.i.t.d. for oval's at least in my area. when i got back into racing i wasnt running them because i didn't want to destroy such vintage history. i reluctantly started using them mainly so i could use larger gears for the tiny bullring i race on. with the stock gears i could not run a 20 pinion/93 spur gear that works so awesome with stock 27t motors on our 125' oval. i have noticed mine are very free and all my trannies spin forever with them. they are heavily used but they could just be worn to the point of zero drag but i love them. i even have a set that i narrowed down myself just like the ones that speedy sells.
