Fibre-lyte is still in business. They made the chassis that was sold under the com-com name.
http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/
It's still available £123.50 GBP !!! I paid £45 GBP for a complete roller

$187.78 USD. Another $44.61 for the nose plate.
That's actually down, about a year and a half ago 1 GBP was worth about $2 US.

Great video waaaay back then!
I got my copy back when they 1st came out, I wish I had dated the box because I can't remember now.
My GF back then ( wife ) had it covered in a thick plastic laminate to protect it, like the stuff we used to protect our books in high school back then.
Here's mine:

Sweet, thanks longboardnj, I was posting in the Losi forum when I joined, so I never saw your post. Thanks for posting the link, great vintage video's. I am just getting back into vintage, and just getting my first Gold Pan, so these video's are awesome. Get some history and building tips all at the same time!

thanks the rc car companion vids are real classic vids too ... its too bad the 1990 rc10 youtube vid was removed.. that was a real smack in the face to all the people that think you need to run brushless lipo to have a good runing car...
