i've been wanting a really nice radio for ages, so i got a 4pk.

it feels pretty darn nice in the hand, but i havent powered it up yet to see how the interface works.
it's waaaaay nicer than my 4ch nomadio, which imo feels like a playschool toy and i've never been able to set the 4th channel correctly, even though it tells me its set up the way i want it.

anyway, its pretty slick.

I have one, still new in box. I have had it for nearly a year! I don't want to get it dirty and my trusty 3PKS 2.4ghz is just fine for now. I was going to use my 4PK for TC this winter but never got the TC racing fever!

Many of the comp crawler and trail rig guys use the 4Pk with great results! I think if you are in the market for a new radio, the 4PK is the best one out there!

Me too, I ran it once and put it back, I am not ready to give up the "heft" of my 3pk yet

heft? this darn 4pk feels pretty hefty imo. certainly alot more to it than the react...

i got it mostly for a crawler/scaler radio. i bought the react thinking that was going to be it, but i never cared for it much.

i figured for just a bit more than a dx3r i'd get an honest 4channels that i can tweak the crap out of and the futaba name.

You had one of the Nomadio's? Then I bet it does, after holding a 2 cell radio  .

But the 4pk feels more like a "toy" because it was built to be light.

The 3pk is like closing a door on a 55 chevy, solid-
the 4pk is like closing a door on a 93 civic click-

kinda peeved... is it not possible to have a momentary 3 way toggle switch off channel 3?

i want to hit a trim button and have a servo function, then when i release it have the servo automatically go back to the middle point on a 3 way toggle. (winch)

thats really the only thing i wanted out of this damn radio, and so far its looking like i'll have to manually put the servo back into the middle position when using a winch or 4ws. bummed...

so... the one feature i just ASSUMED this damn pig would have... it doesnt.

no momentary 3-way toggle.

so... who wants this thing? i'll trade it for some wheel bearings and a couple spur gears.
